Sidelined with a sore back for the past seven games, Cavaliers starting shooting guard Anthony Parker remains doubtful for Wednesday's game at Quicken Loans Arena against the Indiana Pacers.
The 6'6 Parker, who shoots 0.9 free throws per 36 minutes, is averaging just 6.0 points per game this year and just over 2 rebounds and assists.
Should Parker not get to full fitness by Wednesday, it is likely that Daniel Gibson again will start in his place.
With injuries mounting on the Cavaliers it is nice to see the team in a prolonged home stand.
As Conrad noted earlier, Anderson Varejao will not play Wednesday and this is unfortunate because I would have liked to see him thoroughly outplay ALL-STAR Pacers center Roy Hibbert as I suspect he would have. Oh well.
Anyways, Varejao will be missed. Parker won't.

Hopefully he remains doubtful for the rest of the season… great guy personally, but as far as basketball talent we should sign his sister, she seems to have recieved the talent genes lol

Harsh. But yeah, he’s pretty bad.

I do realize its harsh but honestly for what hes paid, he should pay us to watch him start and average 2 pts a game… and play terrible defense. I know hes a good guy, and Cleveland honestly had alot of good guys, but we need some talented good guys as well. And having a starting shooting guard average less than 10 pts a game is brutal. Irving needs a true SHOOTING guard to help him get some assists.

Draft his replacement this summer. Problem fixed.

my dad said he watched the kentucky game yesterday and said Beal looked good and Anthony Davis looked unbelievable.. sounds like they have a team full of lottery picks lol

Also, they said it.. not me…

That’s a hard comparison because Ray Allen has just been a spot up shooter for a while now. He is freakishly athletic too.

I take huge offense to
but I’m going to bed so we’ll argue it some other time.johnf34 - February 12, 2012
Haha, I know you do. But he’s shooting like 50% on threes and I think every single one has been a catch and shoot this year. Crazy.
Conrad Kaczmarek - February 12, 2012
Id take that… like i said Irving needs someone that can actually catch the ball and shoot it, so he can average more assists… he would already if the current roster werent clanging there 3 pt shots off the back of the rim most of the time lol..
I think Beal, Kidd-Gilcrhist, or Lamb would be a great addition

what would be really useful is Beal AND MKG/Barnes
