Afternoon, Cavs fans! I bring you two snippets of news today.

Second, I bring you news that Christian Eyenga has been sent down to D-League Canton. He hasn't gotten any playing time up in Cleveland and Byron Scott was not happy with his play during training game and preseason. I think it's a solid move since he obviously wasn't playing for the Cavaliers and needs to be on the court if he wants to improve. He's still under contract by the Cavs so he'll probably be back up at some point if someone suffers an injury. This news was originally reported by the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Kyrie’s PER after yesterday at an outstanding 23.57, good for 6th best among point guards. Ricky Rubio’s 25th best among point guards but thats ok because Chad Ford says watching him is like watching a symphony. Either way, if Kyrie finishes the year with a PER above 20 I will be thrilled.

That would be sick if he was above 20 at the end of the season. He has honestly been fairly inefficient in the first couple games but yesterday was outstanding so I expect him to keep that up.

For the record, Chris Paul’s PER in his rookie year was 22.3
