about 1 month ago: Cleveland Cavaliers' Kyrie Irving controls a loose ball against New Jersey Nets' Damion James during the first quarter of an NBA basketball game Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012, in Cleveland. (AP Photo/Ron Schwane)

The Cavaliers beat the Nets the last time these two teams played by a score of 98-82. Remember that game? That was the game when Nets fans were getting upset at me for picking the Cavs over their super talented team. Fast forward to today and the Nets are 6-13 and still terrible. This should be oodles of fun.

Song Of The Day: What I Got - Sublime

Tonight's Overview:

New Jersey Nets (6-13) at Cleveland Cavaliers (7-10)

The Cavs are coming off a nice win against the Knicks and the Nets are coming off a completely inexplicable win against the Sixers. Could the Nets actually be improving and worthy of the irrational praise they receive from their fan base? I'm going to go out on a limb and say that no, they are not actually improving and that their win over the Sixers was a fluke. Other than the fact that New Jersey has like 15 guys with the last name "Williams" on their team, I can't really find any other reason why anybody should care about this team.

LOLWUTOMG YOU FORGOT WE CAN HAZ DERON WILLIAMS THO. Okay, calm down. Here's why I'm not really excited about Deron Williams: he's been awful this year. What the hell happened to the D-Will that was worthy of being one of the league's top point guards next to Chris Paul? It seems like he forgot to come to Jersey when Utah traded him. His FG% completely fell off when he got to the Nets. He shot 34.9% from the field with the Nets last year and is shooting a similarly miserable 39% from the field this year. His assist rates are still doing okay, although they have fallen off a good amount. Part of this is a result of having a garbage team around him, but he also just isn't playing as well. You'd figure that the scoring would still be there, right? As of right now, he's on pace to put up the worst PER of his career since his second year in the league.

If any Nets fans are reading this, make sure to have a seat and grab a paper bag before scrolling down and reading my next sentence.

scrolling....

scrolling....

Kyrie Irving is better, after playing just 16 games, than former all-world point guard Deron Williams has played with New Jersey.

Whoa, that was extreme. Okay, there are a few conditions to this statement. This doesn't mean that Kyrie is better than Deron ever was or that he will even finish the season better than him. But as of right now, the Deron Williams that the Nets got in the trade with the Jazz has been less than what they expected. So much so, that a rookie point guard is outplaying him. Right now, I'd put Kyrie Irving in the All-Star Game over Williams

Key Matchup:

MarShon Brooks vs. Alonzo Gee

I'm not sure if this matchup will actually happen, but as of late, Gee has just been guarding the best scorer on each team they face. And he's been phenomenal. He's really bothered LeBron, Kobe, and Melo this season. Brooks is one of the Nets few decent offensive players and if Gee can shut him down, it will be very difficult for the Nets to score effectively.

Fear The Sword's Fearless Prediction:

The Cavs once again beat the Nets and Kyrie gets back on track after his off shooting night against New York. Kyrie scores 19 points and Cleveland wins, 95-87.

get ready for hords of angry nets fan’s to comment. for such an awful team they have a lot of fans on the internet.

They will have a lot of fans until the trade deadline passes. After Orlando passes on Mikhail Prokhorov’s offer of Kris Humphries, 3,000 acres of prime land in Siberia and weekend use of his timeshare in Colorado, I imagine all hope will be lost.

/I don’t know if trading the team’s future for 100 games of Deron Williams was the wisest move.

haha .they are the most delusional fanbase that’s for sure.the idea that orlando is just going to give them howard for there trash is laughable .

Superstars want a big market, thats why nobody came to Cleveland and LeBron left..same with Melo in Denver..I know losing your superstar gets you angry but Dwight and Deron is happening

Lopez
Brooks
Okur
2012 first round pick
other first round picks

for

Dwight Howard

No. This is the same problem a lot of Cavs fans have in over-valuing their team’s talent. Lopez is a decent big who just had major surgery on his foot. I don’t think he’s the centerpiece Nets fans make him out to be. Cavs fans approached JJ Hickson the same way; plenty of them thought he was an all-star waiting to be unleashed rather than seeing him as a PF with a double dose of Drew Gooden in him.

Brooks is talented but unproven guy. He’s probably the best asset NJ has. Is Okur’s contract expiring? He’s meh otherwise. Stockpiling picks is all well and fine, but other teams will be offering both picks and better players. I don’t see him going to NJ because someone will give up more.

How is Brook unproven?

You can make an arguement that its unknown how he’ll perform after the surgery, but he has 3 full years of NBA experience averaging 17.4 points per game, 7.6 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks.

I was referring to Marshon Brooks.

cuz holding out and expecting lebron to resign was very wise

For the flack about LeBron, the Cavs were coming off two straight sixty-win seasons. At least they had their run with the guy. After he left, they blew it up to start again and we’re beginning to see the results.

The Nets, on the other hand, gave up Favors, Harris and two firsts for a guy who wasn’t willing to sign an extension. If he leaves, they won’t have any assets remaining to rebuild with thanks to the deal.

Seriously, what assets do Dallas, New Jersey, LA, or NY have to get Howard? If I was to get the best that each of those team could offer COMBINED, I think I’d get like 1 1/2 solid NBA player’s worth of talent for one of the league’s best.

And did Kyrie Irving put up 35 and 10 twice so far this season?

who is shooting the higher percentage?

Guess Tyson Chandlers better than Dwight Howard because he is shooting a higher % in your mind
Check the stats

Significant are the per 36 minutes, WS/48 and PER. Deron gets to the line more, dishes more assists and has less turnovers. If Kyrie didn’t turn the ball over through teammates hands because they aren’t ready for his passes twice per game/took care of the ball better on dribble drives he would dominate those categories as well. I think Deron is definitely a better one on one defender, but Kyrie’s defense is better than people realize. When you’re trying to defend the PnR and your partner is Antawn Jamison you’re not going to look good. The argument that Kyrie Irving is better than Deron Williams right now is perfectly valid, and so far this season the Cavs have looked better than the Nets.

It's not even close to valid, unless you are just looking at numbers

And if you want to do that, Manu Ginobli is having a better year than LeBron James by PER.

The real debate isn’t Deron vs Kyrie, it’s MarShon vs Kyrie and who is the better rookie.

Manu played like 5 games…

Exactly

But if you look at PER, he’s better than Lebron.

but D-Will and Irving have played the same amount of games..

Again, too small a sample size

Talk to me at year’s end and we can discuss who had a better year. I think Irving will be an elite PG in a few years, but there is no comparison to Deron right now.

Unless you want to compare their rookie years?

Are you telling me that DWill with the Nets has been the same guy as he was in Utah? He’s shooting under 40 percent. That’s terrible

Great assist #'s, shooting % has been down

And once again (echo echo) too small a sample size at this point.

The shooting has begun to turn around. Turnover rate has been what’s the biggest knock to his game.

You’re ignoring win shares and stats per 36 minutes. It’s not just PER. Just check the stats and watch them play.

Sorry but the sample size is far too small to make any claim like that

I enjoy the debates, but like I said, Deron vs Irving is a laughable debate. It’s MarShon vs Irving which is fun since they are both rookies and while the sample size is still too small to make real conclusions, it’s an interesting discussion.

Cavs fans...

You really need to learn statistics…Its the same as in baseball where a light hitting middle infielder like Marco Scuttero gets on a hot streak and is batting .400 over 10-15 games – that does not make him an All-Star.

We’re now comparing the number one pick in the draft to a middle infielder in baseball? Take a look at Kyrie Irving’s rookie #s and compare them to the rookie numbers of Chris Paul

Have you ever taken a statistics class?

Its all about sample size…right now there is a +/- of a very large number. This means that you can’t use Kyrie’s first 15-16 games to project anything about his performance tonight or going forward. Its the very same as the baseball comparison where you can’t assume that Scuttero (in that example) will continue to hit .400 going forward.

i think the cavs will be geting a lot of call’s about three team deal’s .becuase andy is better than any of teams bigmen on howard’s list.yes, even better than the la’s twin towers and a lot better than lopez.but the cavs will have to be overwelmed to trade andy.

Anderson is nowhere close to Bynum,Gasol,Lopez at all
How can you even say that? What is he better than those guys at?

okay maybe not the lakers bigs but i think it’s closer than you think .hei rebouding and defence is very good and doesn’t try to do too much on offense.ohter team’s fans dont have any idea how good he is.

Ive watched him in the playoffs and on national tv games, he is a flopper..good at defense okay but has zero reliable post up he is a role player

lopez is the roll player .all he can do is score.

How many centers in the NBA average 20ppg?

he averaged close to 9 rebounds/game his first 2 seasons..no reason to think he can’t improve on his horrid rebounding season last year.

He is FAR from a role player.

but last year all did was score.so one good thing=rollplayer

A center who can give you 20ppg

is not a role player. Reggie Evans is a role player.

my reply was to randy ,he said that andy is a roll player .and i simply think that and is better than lopez.

Melo is a role player then?

i think melo is a star not a superstar like knick fan’s think.he cant carry a team like super stars do.

BeanJames I feel like all you watch are the Cavs and just look at stats to make up your mind on a player.

Парни я не видел не чего смешнее этого. Вы сравниваете Ирвига с Дероном? Удачи вам.

LoL.

Yeah, Irving is better than Dwill.

and the Cavs are just sooo much better than the Nets..without Brook Lopez.

Ok then.

Anyway I think Nets blow the Cavs out

Nets are going to be upset about losing to a terrible Cavaliers team last time, and want to blow them out of the water quick. Irving will put up a lot of shots and try to be fancy being in NJ, but I dont see him having a big impact on the game.
Nets 95 to Cavaliers 79

The game is in Cleveland

and it won’t be a blowout but by reading this writeup you would think we were playing Chicago.

The game is in Cleveland

I just want to know how Deron has been better than Kyrie this year? He’s been so inconsistent and inefficient.

Deron is still averaging 19 and 9

with a 34 and 11 game last outing. He’s finding his stride this season after a rough start. Brook Lopez, the Nets #2 scoring option, has been out all season so he’s had to play with a bunch of 1-year deals and D-leaguers as the Nets tread water waiting for Dwight Howard.

Williams has had to adjust big time, but to say Irving has been better because he’s shooting a higher %? Come on now. Irving isn’t even averaging 5 assists/game.

Irving is having a nice year no doubt..he isn’t even close to Deron Williams’ level.

Check the stats per 36 minutes, WS/48 and PER.
I agree

Irving’s #‘s compare to Dwill’s so far this season. I jumped the gun on this post trying to defend Deron as the better player but the argument made is a valid one.

Thank you. I’m not invalidating Deron’s career. I’m saying that since he joined the Nets, he has not been the same.

Maybe because last season he was dealing with a wrist that required surgery
I think by the end of the season

(especially if the Nets get Howard) Dwill’s #’s will return to form.

The team is finally showing some cohesiveness so I expect better performances.

There is no talent to pass the ball to in New Jersey besides Brook Lopez and Marshon Brooks.

Obviously the former has not been playing. Anyone who did not expect his numbers to drop on a team without talent is kidding themselves.

Deron has been trapped all year and without another 20 point scorer and low post man its been hard...the Nets are last in points in the paint I think

If Kyrie was on the Nets and he had to face what Deron has faced he wouldn’t be anywhere close to Deron right now.

The Cavs don't have another 20 pt. scorer

Also Samardo Samuels is probably our best player in the post when it comes to offensive moves. Nearly all of our points in the paint come from fast breaks, putbacks (hustle plays) and drives from Kyrie. Are you saying the Cavs are a better team than the Nets, and that’s why Kyrie is comparable to Deron Williams right now?

Nets would be different if they had their low post scorer who avgs 20 a game so take the attention off of Deron..when you lose a guy like that your records not going to be great.
It's the main reason Deron's shooting % is so low right now

he faces doubles all game and is forced to take tough shots more often than he’s ever had to in his career.

i don’t think irving is better than d will right now .i think he might be better down the road but not now.

Irving is a good player likely to become a top PG down the road

but right now, despite Deron’s inconsistent season, the 2 aren’t comparable. I think that’s why so many on the Net board got ticked when they read this write up.

netsking youre post’s are well thought out.the rest of you are trolling. conrad’s piece was well written .i don’t see what you have to complain about are blog.

it wasnt well written it was written directly to Nets fans which is sad, why not write it to cavs fans?

it was the CAVS BLOG .how is that directly to nets fans?

Why dont you read it and see..he wrote it directly to Net fans
Thank u

i read and respect netsdaily .you guys have a great blog .i just dont see why some of you guys have to troll over here.

its not "trolling" I dont even know what that is? Its debating sports..this blog talked about the Nets and I argued with the points that were brought up.
You troll other boards a lot dude.

okay one of youre posters called cav’s fans dicks other’s posted about bron and someone posted in russian .that trolling my friend

They arent my posters? I am here on my own, what ever they post doesnt involve me.
that dude is a Russian fan of the nets.
The Russian one does not speak english.
Kyrie Irving is better, after playing just 16 games, than former all-world point guard Deron Williams has played with New Jersey.

Read what I wrote again. I said hes been better than Deron has been in NJ. That’s all. And the stats back that up.

Is that all you look at are stats? Kyrie hasn't had the impact on a game like Deron had where he took over in OT against Philly which you called a FLUKE

this dude clearly doesnt watch the cavs play.

also, this is a classic argument. “since my guy has been statistically underperforming i will rely on unquantifiable things like impact”

deron williams “impact”: 7 – 13

I guess you could argue that

I think an argument could be made for both sides.

I think a lot of us read that and freaked out at IRVING >>>> DWILL!?!!

well yeah, but thats because you didnt read what I said.

Conrad, Jason Kidd never shot the ball at a great % did that make Marbury a better player?
dude....stop
No thanks
this doesnt concern you...I dont work for you? I am debating sports on my own? You dont like it fine..dont tell me what do.
You didn't start off on a good note

“Fast forward to today and the Nets are 6-13 and still terrible. This should be oodles of fun.”

Are you arguing that the Nets arent terrible?

I think they've done a decent job treading water

through tons of injuries to key players.

I think the win in Philly without MarShon Brooks was a great win.

I think 6-13 with the schedule that we’ve had to start the year isn’t terrible.

They’re 2 games out of the playoffs and w/ Lopez coming back soon I think they will be a pretty decent team.

But Brook isnt back. As it stands now, they arent good.

Agreed

but, improved since our last meeting.

Nets beat the Sixers the best team Cavs beat were the TWolves

And neither are the Cavs, but in my opinion, theyre better than the Nets

your really gonna say 16 games into his.career that he's better then PG who's been top 3 for years. Wow is all what I gotta say. Nice professionalism btw

You literally did not read what I said

you literally are the least professional sports writer i've ever seen
as soon as you said kyrie>Seton. All credibility went out the window, no matter how u try to justify it. lets hope lebron opts out and can save you guys
He was referring to THIS SEASON

and the #’s back up his argument.

Although a VERY small sample size.
this, just 16 games but I see what your saying
ok the numbers may be better, but who would you take on your team,
That wasn't the point he was making though

Considering age and contract? Kyrie. But like I said, this isnt invalidating Deron’s career. It’s saying that Irving is more deserving of an all-star spot right now. It isnt a lifetime achievement award.

How is Kyrie more deserving? He hasnt topped Derons assists and Kyrie hasnt beat one playoff team
Kyrie Irving >Seton Hall

That’s right, I said it.

That’s the point, he is only comparing the games this season, not talking about other years. Pay attention.

K then Manu > Lebron
that's why you don't campare players after 16 games. look at Devin Harris after one amazing year, he completely fell off. just an example of why u don't compare after a couple of games
Cavs are terrible and the Nets are terrible

Fact.

way to bash, just wait till the cavs lose
Conrad if Deron goes off tonight on Kyrie, I dont want to hear FLUKE in the postgame thread
Man you acting like the Cavs are a contender

Nets and Cavs are mediocre, but Nets have had way more injuries, Injuries are part of the game but….anyways Nets have a top 5 center coming back in a couple of weeks while the Cavs have the same “great” team for the rest of the year.

Couple of things...

When Deron got to New Jersey, there was an issue with his wrist that negatively impacted his shooting percentage. He had bone fragments and scar tissue in his shooting wrist, which he had surgery for and missed games for. You can’t hypothesize a “Deron Williams Declines in New Jersey” headline without mentioning this.

What I think you are wrong about, without trying to be biased, is your claim that the Nets haven’t improved from the beginning of this year. The team that started the year had no experience playing with one another. Okur was traded 2 days before the first game. Shawne Williams, Sheldon Williams, DeShawn Steveson were brand new to the team (for starters). This team had a huge identity crisis because it was built as an inside-outside team, but is playing without Brook Lopez. Regardless of whether he’s a top center in the NBA, he puts points on the board for us and is a pillar of the offense. The nets that played the cavs didn’t have a clue what they were doing. The Nets HAVE developed an identity since then.

Also, you gotta give credit to the Nets for the win in Philly, where they were 8-1 before the Nets came in — we did it without Marshon and Brook.

Is it that dull over here your blogger has to poke a hornets nest, or is his writing always this biased and ignorant?

lol well last time nets fans came in here first. its not always this anti team we areplaying

yeah, it’s just because they got so mad last time. no other team comes here and freaks out

look at what you wrote, your acting like the cavs are light years better then the nets. I'm sure you sit hits will be up though
When Fear the Sword sees their site's hit count today

Holy shit, we better win tonight.

Yeah you better the worst team in the league (the nets) are facing title contendor (cavs) tonight

According to you

I never said that. If you read my stuff regularly, you’ll know I think we are doomed once our schedule gets tougher and the rookies hit the rookie wall

I have never experienced a fan base as stupid as Nets fans.

Knicks

Boom, done.

Kyrie hasnt topped what Deron did last game in any game so far this year.

They’re from New Jersey. I mean, that’s basically the entire argument right there.

Err

Cleveland?

Yup, that’s the city that Cavs play in.

Yes

but you knocked New Jersey. How someone from Cleveland could knock New Jersey is, well, funny.

I think it’s pretty apt. I mean, the rust belt may be economically depressed, but at least we aren’t the laughing stock of the entire nation.

u mad?

I’m really just bored, but it’s comforting to know the only comeback you have is the 2010’s equivalent to “talk to the hand.”

anything you can do I can do better. see I'm bored too, but back on topic 94-88 nets
Rather ridiculous statement
Laughing stock?

far from it. New Jersey is a great place to live.

Again, Jersey Shore is just a TV show.

yeah Cleveland was good enough for lebron, .....oh wait

I don’t think that bothers Cavs fans as much as you want it to. Most have moved on. Some(like me) were never upset about him leaving in the first place.

MTV has completely ruined us.
yeah buddy!!!!

Antawn Jamison has a higher shooting percentage than Deron Williams this year

Jamison is a big man, usually big men have higher %

lol jamison is the anti-big man

If you’ve seen Jamison play he just jacks up jump shots. I’m amazed that anyone has a lower shooting percentage than him.

antawn doesn ’t play like a bigman all

SMH

Another mind blowing comment.

How does that blow your mind? it’s literally just a stat

Obviously Jamison > DWill then

No, not at all. Im just saying THATS how inefficient DWill has been scoring

And I'm saying THAT'S how ridiculous and misleading stats can be so early on
I think the last blog that talked trash about the Nets was Washington's I think.

That team and their fans haven’t been the same since.

Except that we’ve already played you this year. And we destroyed you.

no it was Toronto
who manhandled us
no, it was the Raptors

They lost to the Nets and then lost 9 of their next 10 after saying how they would manhandle our joke of a team

wow

so desperate for views and hits on his pitiful blog that he spews trash about other teams when his team has ONE win more than the team he is trashing and the Cavs have yet to beat a quality opponent (no the Knicks arent a quality opponent).

I guess losing all your star players because your city sucks can make you delusional.

Not as delusional as expecting that Deron Williams will somehow land you Dwight Howard.

It's ok that you don't understand.

It really is.

I understand that when we beat you again tonight and lead the season series 2-0, you’re still going to come around and make hilariously vain attempts to troll us like “lol at least we don’t live in cleveland”, the great irony being, of course, that you root for a team from New Jersey.

What does where someone's team play have to do with ANYTHING?

It has nothing to do with anything. I live in Boston

So why are you debating it?

I never brought it up, that wasnt me

Yawn

a team that will be in Brooklyn.

There’s really nothing to bash about New Jersey btw..one of the wealthiest states in the country where plenty of celebrities reside.

Of course there is jersey shore which I’m sure you will reference soon.

There is actually stuff to do in NJ
were moving to brooklyn and are going to get better you guys are not going anywher
did I just imagine Dwight saying the.nets are his first choice and wants to play with deron and morrow

I think it’s more likely that Deron and Dwight both go to Dallas, but that’s just my opinion.

I think that's 100% an option

But far from “more likely”.

It’s virtually all speculation. That’s just my opinion.

They dont have cap space for both, and if they both become free agents they are signing with their number 1 choice the Nets..
how is The mavs finding a taker for Shawn Marion more likely then the team who actually has the cap space?
I don't think he was really going for massive pageviews

I think he was annoyed at how stupid Nets fans were last time, so he decided to troll for fun and you all flew off the friggin’ handle.

The depression is getting to these Cleveland fans

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AN0WqSeCKW8

Is this the most comments in this sites history?

No, but its a ton for a game preview haha

Players like Howard want to play with Williams, despite his "inefficiency". Does Howard want to play with A.Jamison or even Kyrie Irving?

http://espn.go.com/nba/player/stats//id/429/jason-kidd
/id/429/jason-kidd" >

Kidd was never an efficient player FG% wise, BUT he’s always been considerd an all time great.

Deron has always been an efficient shooter

he will return to those #’s by the end of the year.

Jamison is in the last season of his contract and he definitely won’t be coming back

Why would he his team sucks.

Well, he wouldn’t come back because the Cavs won’t offer him a contract. If you look at the pieces the Cavs have, their draft pick situation and cap situation over the next 5 years it’s easy to see us building an excellent team sooner rather than later.

Your lucky Clippers were dumb enough to trade Baron Davis for Mo Williams and their first round

RandyOreens has more posts in this Cavs-Nets preview all the Cavs fans did before they played the Knicks , lol.

I cant see Nets blog ever posting something like this about the Cavaliers
NI and ND are two classy dudes, were probably gonna get banned just for being here lol
so what are you trying to get at
Kyrie is already thinking about leaving

he wants to go play for da New Yawk niks at duh gahden.

Yeah just ask any Knick fan they’ll tell you. LMAO,

PS. According to many basketball players, well not just basketball players everyone really says “Cleveland really sucks”.

This is laughable.
So much so, that a rookie point guard is outplaying him. Right now, I’d put Kyrie Irving in the All-Star Game over Williams
It was the great Thomas Jefferson who said:

God Cleveland sucks”

But Cavaliers had a lot of bandwagon fans, Nets fans are very loyal...I remember going to a game in NJ against the Cavs in 09 and there were a lot of Cavs jerseys..now I dont think I see any

man you dont under stand cleveland sports at all .they have a very loyal fanbase in all sports.

debatable. tribe fans were weak this year. before cav got lebron we didnt pay much attention either. browns fans are loyal to the grave though, and browns backers are world wide. good luck finding a giants or jets bar in cleveland

No matter where you go around NJ/NY area you will never see a Cleveland game on

try Manny’s on Second

lol this is the most attention this blog has gotten in a while

The person who runs this blog can barely get 200 comments without resorting to trashing other teams to attract their fans to his page.. pathetic.

Its working thou. Enjoy your day of fame Cavs cuz nobody gives a shit most days.

I literally could not care less about page views. I write for Cavs fans and for myself. I gave Nets fans a hard time because they were so easily offended last time…and they took the bait. We still have a small readership because I just took over the site this season, but the people that read it are informed and reasonable

so u were trolling,

I believe that Kyrie has outplayed Deron this year. And that is not a trolling argument to make. The stats are there for it.

Williams: 19 points, 9 assists, 1.1 steal, 4 rebounds

Irving: 17 points, 5 assists, .7 steals, 3 rebounds

Williams has not been as efficient as has been in the past. That is your only argument. Why you baited Nets fans off of that one point, I do not understand. He isn’t playing with talent. He has been adjusting to a role in which he is no longer a pass first point guard and is demanded to shoot more. It is not hard understand why he has had efficiency issues.

Kyrie and Deron’s supporting casts are comparable in that they are both pretty bad save for a few exceptions. Despite the poor talent surrounding Kyrie, he still manages to take smart shots and shoot a high percentage taking them. Being a shoot first guard doesn’t mean you have to just chuck up shots like Deron does at times.

Once again

this is not a role he is used to.

Claiming that Deron’s adjustment is bigger than Kyrie’s adjustment is laughable. The dude is a rookie.

You’re ignoring that Deron plays more than eight more minutes per game. Kyrie gets 8 more minutes per game he crushes Derons numbers, that said I like Byron limiting everyone’s minutes and focusing on building for the future.

Yea..

Like im gonna believe that you took all that time to write such a detailed piece.. only to have the 17 Cavs fans and the 26 converted Heat fan/ ex Cavs fans that are online and might stumble upon this hot steaming pile of hot garbage you wrote?

No.. you wanted attention for your pitiful blog i only ever heard of today… and you baited one of the largest fan bases on the net so that you could generate traffic. Its cool. It worked and was genius of you. It even got ME in here. I applaud you.

It's too bad the Nets are going to overwhelm the Cavs with their primo lottery talent.

Terrence Williams, Brook Lopez, and Derrick Favors are simply unstoppable :(

Brook isn't unstoppable, but he's pretty talented.

Doesn’t dominate on rebounds, but he’s a top center anyway.

lol @ the cavs

Why are we even here? Lebron was the reason we started caring again, now that hes gone we shouldnt care anymore.

Conrad Kaczmarek = Dan Gilbert

Why do Nets fans care about LeBron?

I really don’t get Nets’ fans outrage. They’re 6-13, and their self-identified best (or second best) player is out with a foot injury for another month. It’s not exactly some insane logical reach for someone to say that a younger, healthier team that soundly beat the Nets a few weeks ago should beat them again.

You guys are just like the Timberwolves fans, but with a less talented team to watch.
