Notable Performances:

Kyrie scored efficiently and had his jump shot working. Once again, he was brilliant at putting that orange ball into the metal circle thing. Unfortunately, he also had 7 turnovers and his defense wasn't great. He's developing nicely and it's good to see him score seemingly at will. I am looking forward to seeing him with some good teammates and let him run the show as a more pure point guard.

Boobie Gibson sat this game out for personal reasons and that created a shitshow in the backcourt for the Cavaliers. When Anthony Parker and Kyrie had to come out for their normal rests, Byron Scott had to roll with a lineup of Sessions-Gee-Harangody-Thompson-Erden. Yes, you read that correctly. Luke freakin' Harangody was playing small forward for an NBA team in the first quarter of a game.

Tristan Thompson actually played pretty well when he was in the game. He scored 16 points on 6 of 7 shooting and grabbed 5 rebounds. The best sign from Tigger was perhaps the fact that he hit 4 of his 5 free throws. A nice outing for the two rookies on the offensive side of the ball, combining for 34 of the Cavaliers' points.

The Cavaliers have now been outscored by 66 points the past two nights. Anyone who thinks this team will still make the playoffs needs to probably reconsider.

Fear The Sword's Player Of The Game:

Me

You could give it to Kyrie or Tristan, but honestly I don't think anyone deserves it. Therefore, for the second game this season, I will be awarding the player of the game honors to myself. I managed to watch this entire game without breaking anything or collapsing into tears. I believe that deserves some props.

I THREW IT ON THE GROUND!!

Basically how I feel.

Irving.

He was good at scoring, but not much else.

Jesus. I wasn’t able to watch this game, and looking at the stats I’m glad. I mean, it’s good for this team to lose because we want a top five pick, but in a perfect world they’d show their potential, make the other team sweat a little, then barely lose. That Pacers game earlier this year was exactly what I want out of this team.

This? This sounds like it was a disaster.

They should bounce back. First two games against upper echelon teams. Indiana’s good, but I don’t think they’re anything special.

Totally spaced on the Blazers and Lakers, who are still very good, but kind of a mess (offensively at least. Oh hey Mike Brown)

We’re now 0-6 against teams .500+

We got Miami next. We got that one… i hope.

Im in Japan right now and have no way to watch the games. I hope this losing streak is over by time I ger back.

where in Japan are you visiting?

Toyota shi and Nagoya

Email me sometime and I’ll give you a way to watch the games online via alternative means.

Was a sloppy game to say the least. Seems like anytime the pressure is on they choke. Guess that comes with having a young team. The defense im sure will come around, for Irving that is. Parker was terrible as always with his 3 pts… 10 pts from the Antawn and he only shot 7 times which is definitely unusual! And Harangody plays 23 minutes? Come on! Hope we can somehow get the first overall again next year… wouldnt it be nice to see Irving to Drummond?

Why are you trying to ruin his trip?!!!! ;)

Lol.. i didnt ruin his trip… Tracy McGrady escalated his trip HAHA.. with a slight push… Honestly though trade away Andy, and Sessions… start Harangody and Ryan Hollins and we will assuredly end up with a top 3 pick no doubt… Although it wont be too entertaining scoring 45 pts a game and Irving getting half of them! JK… I do hope that we end up with Drummond or a top big man in the draft next year, you give Irving a target big man next year and bring in a nice swingman NOT named Parker that can put more than 3 pts a game on the board… I think things are on the up and up for the Cavs!
