Superman and Other Turk look to cook The Beef and Paul Gaso (I borrowed the "L" from his last name) in some strange facsimile of the real NBA Finals. Discussion welcome.
Oh, and if anyone knows where I can find a broadcast of the real game, send me a discreet e-mail...

They’re still talking about Kobe being the best “closer” in the game. What a load.
Turkmenbashi - June 4, 2009
Wow, Lakers fans couldn’t possibly be quieter. I like this intro though.
Turkmenbashi - June 4, 2009
I hate the Magic
Aditya T (smashville) - June 4, 2009
This
Turkmenbashi - June 4, 2009
I hate Turkoglu
Aditya T (smashville) - June 4, 2009
Well, I dunno. I don’t hate the Magic. I actually kinda like Turk. But I don’t want them to win.
Turkmenbashi - June 4, 2009
They WONT.
Trust me.
johnnyphoenix - June 5, 2009
This is the same intro video from last year!
Aditya T (smashville) - June 4, 2009
Haha, goaltend
Turkmenbashi - June 4, 2009
Kobe missed! Oh, well that means Lebron is better
Aditya T (smashville) - June 4, 2009
Yeah, but can LeBron close like Kobe?!
Turkmenbashi - June 4, 2009
Aditya T (smashville) - June 4, 2009
That’ll never get old. Never.
Turkmenbashi - June 4, 2009
Wow, Van Gundy is a douche. He’s really playing up that “no respect” card.
Turkmenbashi - June 4, 2009
Just like Dwight. And it’s BULLSH*T. The media is “hit and run” the change “partners” more than squar dancers.
But, Orlando loves to believe they are so victimized by the big bad MEDIA! “Grrrr…” <—- (That’s the media.)
Simmsinns - June 4, 2009
HAI GUIZ!
I found a local radio station covering the real game, score is Cavs: 25 – Purples: 3, 8:13 1st quarter, I’ll be sure to keep you posted!
Simmsinns - June 4, 2009
Oh snap! Keep us in the know!
Turkmenbashi - June 4, 2009
6:21 left in 2nd Quarter, Cavs: 56 – Purples: 11
Simmsinns - June 4, 2009
As it should be
Turkmenbashi - June 4, 2009
6 ties, 8 lead changes. That says it all for the first,
Aditya T (smashville) - June 4, 2009
make that 7 lead changes
Aditya T (smashville) - June 4, 2009
I just really don’t want the Lakers to win. There’s nothing worse than a front-running Laker fan claiming how “they’ve” won a championship.
Simmsinns - June 4, 2009
Watch Alston shoot 30% all series. I’ll choke someone.
Turkmenbashi - June 4, 2009
Or Peitrus, that 3rd tier SG…
Simmsinns - June 4, 2009
Wow, Game 2’s not till Sunday? That’s atrocious.
Turkmenbashi - June 4, 2009
I believe that is to avoid having the games on the same day as the NHL finals
Aditya T (smashville) - June 4, 2009

Simmsinns - June 4, 2009
Awesome. The way I scheduled my Cleveland trip, I’ll be up there to see them complete the sweep on the 11th!
Turkmenbashi - June 4, 2009
Magic Johnson couldn’t be more wrong. He is more biased than I am.
Simmsinns - June 4, 2009
Wow, Kobe actually saying people should get off LeBron’s back. Props. I now have more reason to root for the Lakers.
Turkmenbashi - June 4, 2009
The Magic have used more of these than are actually in the Community Chest.
Simmsinns - June 4, 2009
HAHAHA
Turkmenbashi - June 4, 2009
Nice
Gotta rip that one off.
pookeyguru - June 6, 2009
So luck runs out for the Darlings. Figures it happens now.
Turkmenbashi - June 4, 2009
I’m so bitter. >.<
Simmsinns - June 4, 2009
Why, aren’t we, uh, up by like 50 at this point? In, like, the real finals?
(don’t know how long I can maintain this)
Turkmenbashi - June 4, 2009
I lost coverage… all I’m getting is static. But sure we’re up a least 65, I’m sure of it! :’D Obvious fake smile
Simmsinns - June 4, 2009
So, um, why are they still running Kobe/Lebron puppet comercials?
Aditya T (smashville) - June 4, 2009
They ran one earlier that was just LeBron and Lil’ Dez… good stuff actually, it was definitely tongue-in-cheek hatin’ on LeBron.
Turkmenbashi - June 4, 2009
I don’t care what anyone says about the “media” hyping up Kobe and LeBron, the commercials are undeniably entertaining. Not mention so much of it is based on their regular seasons. Kobe: MVP ‘08 LeBron: MVP ’09 ect…
It’s all about how’s the better basketball player and whatnot. NEVER once do any of the Vitamin Water or Nike commercials ever mention the NBA Finals, or the fact they they might meet their. That is what was fabricated by all the so-called experts and analysts that felt the need to keep talking about it.
The companies running Kobe-Lebron ads have thing in mind: SELL their product. Period.
Simmsinns - June 4, 2009
Well, the new puppet commercial actually acknowledges the Finals this year, and I think it’s pretty damn good
Turkmenbashi - June 4, 2009
I missed that one, I’ll have to check it out.
Simmsinns - June 4, 2009
Where the hell were the REAL Orlando Magic the last series?
We had to face some kind of FREAK of nature version of the Magic that was bound to crash and burn eventually. What goes up must come down. The bigger they are the harder the fall. (bigger = 3pt %)
Simmsinns - June 4, 2009
Van Gundy screwed the chemistry by bringing in Nelson. They were tied or up several points and then Nelson came in and all hell broke loose. I mean, the guy hasnt played for 4 months. He didnt play poorly, but it just messes up the chemistry bringing someone into the finals that hasnt even played 1 second of the playoffs.
i2ambler - June 5, 2009
LMFAO@US
30% shooting,
Jesus, My Appreciation of what LeBron did with his supporting cast has tripled…
