No shame losing this time of year…and with James, the Cavaliers will always be sniffing a title…….There will be plenty of time to talk about that, however….
i think this day will be an excellent cross section of cleveland sports. tribe lose after being beaten by a former star who bolted for more cash, and the cavs lose after having astronomical expectations and excitement surrounding them…oh yea and the browns will probably struggle for .500 this year…
I think it’s a matchup problem that has no remedy in a seven game series. Cleveland matches up against almost every other team in the East save the one team they need to beat to get to the finals.
You know it’s going to end right when the the finals start. They’ll revert to the normal Magic, the Lakers will win in 5, and there will be a ton of “Kobe can finish Lebron can’t!” nonsense.
i hope that finals has the worst ratings in the history of the finals just to spite…uh…everyone i guess i dunno im currently switching into full baseball and football mode
Not seeing the game on TV, so any answer as to why LeBron doesn’t seem to be driving and trying to put the ball up? In the clutch, I’ll take that over Wally’s airballs…
He was getting destroyed every time he took it to the hoop early in the game with no call, so he stopped driving the lane and settling for outside jumpers.
I’m sad because the Cavs are my only team that is good. The Tribe sucks. I’m a Chiefs fan. The Chiefs suck. When I don’t cheer for the Chiefs I cheer for the Browns. They suck…
Video games are the only time my teams win championships.
That LeBron looks tired of carrying Cleveland, the city, not the Cavs. He does not have that same fire he had in the previous 5 games. I find that shocking.
I’ve said that here all series. Cavs will be back. I’m curious to see what changes, if any, there are. Also interested to see what the Cavs do through the draft. But, right now, that’s too early to discuss.
and on 10:55 may 30th in the year of our Lord 2009 i declare all of the hopes and dreams of cleveland fans thoroughly dashed by the cavaliers…and as we do every year i shall invoke the phrase that we have all come to utter time and time again. There. Is. Always. Next. Year.
Sure they’ve can. They beat them twice. They lost two other games by fluke last-second three-pointers. They lost a game 3 where the officials completely took over the game and made it pointless.
I think if they restarted the series tomorrow, the Cavs would be better than even money to win it.
I thought they fouled Dwight very hard earlier in the series
And it helped frustrate him some. But, at the same time, Cleveland doesn’t have an answer for him. Nobody to check him or anything. No shadow or anything.
so as cleveland fans i say we swallow our pride and hope the lakers knock these guys out faster than you can say pau gasol…i dont want to see dwight hoist a trophy before lebron
kobe is a punk…but he’s a ridiculously talented punk…smug arrogance and all he has pure skill…the magic seem to be a team based on a pure gimmick. they can shoot 3s and have one big guy who can dunk…oh boy…they’re a good team but i dont want that game formula to win them a championship
It would be similar to a D’Antoni team winning it all. When it’s all said and done I don’t think there are enough facets in their game to pull out a victory in the finals over a team which is more talented. The Lakers match up better with the Magic than the Cavs to boot.
Magic fans: great series. I’m sad to see it end this badly after all those great games. I don’t think I can bring myself to root for you in the finals, but best of luck.
a good buddy of mine that grew up in Shaker Heights was telling me the other day that he can’t even comprise a top ten sports moments list from the Cavs, Browns, and Indians – and he’s 35.
even though i’m a Knicks fan, i’m one of the few that actually believes LeBron won’t leave Cleveland until he wins a championship there. even if that happens, maybe it’s a pipe dream that he comes to resurrect my pathetic team anyway.
just wanted to say good season and sorry it didn’t happen for you.
tough loss for the cavs but great season nonetheless. i was hoping for the kobe lebron matchup, but twas not meant to be. hopefully, you will trade for guys that will showup besides lbj in the playoffs when it matters the most.
WE GOT THIS
MOOOOOOOO!!!!
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009

Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009

Simmsinns - May 30, 2009

Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
Good call, have a Bud
Simmsinns - May 30, 2009
Perhaps
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
positive thoughts here
but I would lik ea lead before I get too excited.
Patrick Allen - May 30, 2009
Cavs should remember
They have the league MVP.
Wally and Gibson firing away shots is ludicrous. It’s like game 2 all over again.
SSreporters - May 30, 2009
Time to see some defense.
Chris Pokorny - May 30, 2009
Hate hearing Petrius’ name mentioned…
Chris Pokorny - May 30, 2009
OK, let’s not settle for jumpers after that hot start.
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
They are calling a lot of fouls away from the basket and almost nothing in the paint.
woodsmeister - May 30, 2009
More of these calls 20 feet from the hoop.
Chemo - May 30, 2009
geeze do we even want Z back next year if he’s playin like this? i like the dude and all but come on…
HireRockyColavito - May 30, 2009
The breakdown has been fast, and the fall long and hard
John Bena (aka CavsBlogger) - May 30, 2009
Well, one bad series doesn’t make the man. But yeah, we need a contingency plan.
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
I really want him to retire as Cav!
He gave us A LOT of good years.
Simmsinns - May 30, 2009
Bah, slowing down the pace.
If we can keep it moving, we’re in good shape.
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
LeBron is being way underutilized on defense, right now.
Simmsinns - May 30, 2009
Come on now
Aditya T (smashville) - May 30, 2009
God, this is awful
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
Let’s go, boys
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
Yeah Mo!
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
Nice Mo!
Aditya T (smashville) - May 30, 2009
Keep it going, guys, bring it back.
THIRD QUARTER COLLAPSE
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
Mo got obliterated by Howard. Again, no call.
woodsmeister - May 30, 2009
No, Andy, no
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
LeBron has to start going to the hoop, referees be damned.
woodsmeister - May 30, 2009
Now, LeBron's 3s are really hurting us.
Simmsinns - May 30, 2009
God damn dude, stop shooting jumpers so early in the shot clock. They’re missing now…
TAKE IT TO THE HOLE
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
MOMOMO!
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
Nice travel on Dwight Who….
Simmsinns - May 30, 2009
And Howard with the elbows flying on the way to hoop and somehow the call’s on Z.
woodsmeister - May 30, 2009
At this ppoint, Z is a liability on both ends of the floor….bring in Darnell Jackson, anyone….
John Bena (aka CavsBlogger) - May 30, 2009
Thank GOD Z is out
Keep him out. He is terrible
Patrick Allen - May 30, 2009
Everytime we get close enough to smell it…
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
BRON
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
everytime howard gets the ball i just know its an automatic 2 or and 1
HireRockyColavito - May 30, 2009
I love this man, and I don’t care who knows
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
FUCK
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
DELONTE
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
GOD DAMN IT
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
EVERY DAMN TIME we get close
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
running out of time…
Patrick Allen - May 30, 2009
STOPSSTOPSSTOPS
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
We aren’t getting JACK from the refs. We are going to have to play perfect from here on out.
Patrick Allen - May 30, 2009
FUCK
Patrick Allen - May 30, 2009
Hey, a foul on Superman. That’s been a long time coming.
woodsmeister - May 30, 2009
don’t call him superman…from here on out he is now known as smiley, or mr. chucklepants
HireRockyColavito - May 30, 2009
I don’t know if Mr. Chucklepants will catch on, but it should.
Chemo - May 30, 2009
Bizzaro
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
It’s not fair to ask this, nor should we have to, but we NEED you, LeBron James.
Make it happen.
KEROSENE
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
Come on, get it under 10 again…
Chris Pokorny - May 30, 2009
There is no possession, the rest of this game, that #23 shouldn’t at least touch the ball….
John Bena (aka CavsBlogger) - May 30, 2009
Yep.
I’m throwing my hands in the air and putting it all on ’Bron.
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
Delonte, running a fast break away from James, then dribbling it out of bounds….not good…
John Bena (aka CavsBlogger) - May 30, 2009
Can they get this under 10
before the start of the 4th?
Hardcore Legend - May 30, 2009
They’d better.
Chris Pokorny - May 30, 2009
I think it needs to be at 6 for a legitimate shot. Just my opinion…
John Bena (aka CavsBlogger) - May 30, 2009
This is just entirely absurd
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
They finally called Howard for hooking.
woodsmeister - May 30, 2009
Anyone that’s religious, start praying.
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
i have no words to describe how much i want the magic to lose in the finals…i know its still early but come on…
HireRockyColavito - May 30, 2009
Not yet, dude. Not yet.
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
how many times have we heard that this series…west for 3! BRICK…
HireRockyColavito - May 30, 2009
COME ON
Aditya T (smashville) - May 30, 2009
I hate Dwight Howard
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
This number will keep going down
down by 14
Aditya T (smashville) - May 30, 2009
16
sigh
Simmsinns - May 30, 2009
yeah. You guys think we can score 50 or 60 in the 4th?
Patrick Allen - May 30, 2009
doesnt matter thats like 2 possessions tops for the magic
HireRockyColavito - May 30, 2009
howard is on. and when he is on there’s no stopping him. no amount of coaching or big men can stop that
HireRockyColavito - May 30, 2009
The Magic arent going to stop scoring. We are fucked.
Patrick Allen - May 30, 2009
IF Cleveland loses
How would you guys perceive this season as? A failure or a magical season that should’ve been better?
If Cleveland wins….will you all act like mad men. ;-)
SSreporters - May 30, 2009
another notch in the belt of failure…
HireRockyColavito - May 30, 2009
Moe’s lack of playoff experience hurt us. Z is old. Big Ben is old.
We need to retool. Keep Moe, Andy and West. We need one more guy and a deeper bench.
Patrick Allen - May 30, 2009
No shame losing this time of year…and with James, the Cavaliers will always be sniffing a title…….There will be plenty of time to talk about that, however….
John Bena (aka CavsBlogger) - May 30, 2009
A failure, but next season is not out of the question.
emd2k3 - May 30, 2009

Patrick Allen - May 30, 2009
i wonder how fast nike can whip up a dwight howard puppet…
HireRockyColavito - May 30, 2009
He is signed with Adidas
so the chances are 0%
Simmsinns - May 30, 2009
Two options: try to get everyone involved in a great team fourth quarter.
or
Live and die by the LBJ show.
I think option number two will be our choice.
Chris Pokorny - May 30, 2009
Option 3
Is to make LeBron one hell of a tight end!
SSreporters - May 30, 2009
No, no no NO.
We’re not going to let this slip away.
WE GOT THIS
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
NOT till final buzzer!
Simmsinns - May 30, 2009
Tribe lost, so Cavs should win, correct?
emd2k3 - May 30, 2009
i think this day will be an excellent cross section of cleveland sports. tribe lose after being beaten by a former star who bolted for more cash, and the cavs lose after having astronomical expectations and excitement surrounding them…oh yea and the browns will probably struggle for .500 this year…
HireRockyColavito - May 30, 2009
No way we win. No way. No matter how good we play the Magic would have to have a total meltdown.
Patrick Allen - May 30, 2009
Have faith. It’s gonna happen.
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
Debbie? Debbie Downer?
SSreporters - May 30, 2009
Trying to prepare myself for the pain man.
Patrick Allen - May 30, 2009
Remember everyone:
Game 5, 2007 ECF
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
They weren't down by 18 though.
SSreporters - May 30, 2009
I don't know what your talking about.
(Repressing Mem. Or. Y…..)
Simmsinns - May 30, 2009
Turkoglu is apparently allowed to hook players.
emd2k3 - May 30, 2009
if i hear anyone EVER say that the refs favor the cavs and lebron…we are going to have serious words…
HireRockyColavito - May 30, 2009
We still have the best player in the world
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
19.
emd2k3 - May 30, 2009
Fuck this.
Patrick Allen - May 30, 2009
UUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH
Aditya T (smashville) - May 30, 2009
Orando is a much better “TEAM.”
emd2k3 - May 30, 2009
You got that right. :)
BAB-Bass - May 30, 2009
we are terrible. These guys are better than us.
Patrick Allen - May 30, 2009
“we are terrible.”
Please explain the regular season, [profane]?
Simmsinns - May 30, 2009
I think it’s a matchup problem that has no remedy in a seven game series. Cleveland matches up against almost every other team in the East save the one team they need to beat to get to the finals.
emd2k3 - May 30, 2009
I agree with Emd, completely.
Simmsinns - May 30, 2009
I'm still wondering...
how LONG can this team keep sinking 3s?
Simmsinns - May 30, 2009
About the same time that Cleveland
Fails to adjust to defend the three.
SSreporters - May 30, 2009
watch them go ice cold against la…that would be funny. just our luck…
HireRockyColavito - May 30, 2009
You know it’s going to end right when the the finals start. They’ll revert to the normal Magic, the Lakers will win in 5, and there will be a ton of “Kobe can finish Lebron can’t!” nonsense.
Chemo - May 30, 2009
Then I'll say
LeBron is 24 so screw those critics.
SSreporters - May 30, 2009
I think 2010 is a possibility if they can somehow swing a deal for a frontline presence.
emd2k3 - May 30, 2009
CHRIS BOSH!!!!
Simmsinns - May 30, 2009
Well, it’ll be wrong no matter what his age is.
Chemo - May 30, 2009
I'm not trolling or anything
Infact, I’m not into any of these teams.
But don’t discount the possibility that the Magic evolved in the Playoffs. I think they can give La a competitive series, either 6 or 7.
Azrael - May 30, 2009
Yay! :D
BAB-Bass - May 30, 2009
Land of the Lost looks awful.
emd2k3 - May 30, 2009

Chief WaDrew - May 30, 2009
These guys need to realize if they don’t score a ton of points now, they are going home.
Aditya T (smashville) - May 30, 2009
oh well at least the Indians will make the…I mean the Browns could…ah fuck it.
Patrick Allen - May 30, 2009
that’s the spirit…
HireRockyColavito - May 30, 2009

Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
Regardless of how poorly Cleveland has played
I remain suspicious of the potential Finals outcome.
Orlando and LA are the two cities with gigantic Disney resorts.
ABC is owned by Disney.
ABC has rights to the NBA Finals.
LA is the 2nd largest TV market in the country.
Based on that you’ll get high ratings and a ton of tourists headed for Disney. More than usual.
Not as an excuse for Cleveland’s performance, but I think that’s what the NBA (and Disney) desires more than LeBron vs. Kobe.
SSreporters - May 30, 2009
lol
ohc - May 30, 2009
Wow! And I thought I was a conspiracy theorist.

Try and develop Darnell Jackson and keep Smith around for 1 more year.

Simmsinns - May 30, 2009

ridiculous
Aditya T (smashville) - May 30, 2009

YES
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
PLEASE be right.
Aditya T (smashville) - May 30, 2009
Seriously
Blind optimism is a pet peeve of mine.
LeBron should go postal and tackle Rashard Lewis, Dwight Howard, and Mikael Pietrus in that order.
SSreporters - May 30, 2009
Hey, it’s all I’ve got man. No use wallowing in this “God hates Cleveland” nonsense.
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
You get used to the wallowing as the decades roll by. You’re just a young’n.
woodsmeister - May 30, 2009
Hey, for a young’n, I’ve already dealt with my share of the Cleveland sports mystique.
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
I was born in 1964. A Cleveland team last won a title when I was 3 months old.
woodsmeister - May 30, 2009
My god man… So rough.
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
Pray for miracles.
Aditya T (smashville) - May 30, 2009

Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
Hey, I beat it a couple of weeks ago. That game is amazing.
Now I’m playing Fallout 3, and I keep accidentally killing my friends. All the virtual characters think I’m an asshole.

Another one of the best games ever.
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
I’m new to Xbox. Just got mine a couple weeks ago. I’ll check out Fallout. Any other good titles?
Patrick Allen - May 30, 2009
I play on PS3, so we have a different subset of games… but my XBox friends tell me that Mass Effect is great.
Chemo - May 30, 2009
Ooh yeah, this
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009

Well, it turns out that wally is an awesome golfer, so we got that going for us.

HireRockyColavito - May 30, 2009

Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009

Man-hugs all around.
Chemo - May 30, 2009
This team looks thoroughly defeated.
emd2k3 - May 30, 2009
It’s done
Aditya T (smashville) - May 30, 2009
The series in reality
Was lost in game 1 by blowing their first big lead. As soon as home court was stolen fate was sealed.
SSreporters - May 30, 2009
I made a comment in 3QC
That LeBron looks tired of carrying Cleveland, the city, not the Cavs. He does not have that same fire he had in the previous 5 games. I find that shocking.
pookeyguru - May 30, 2009
Either way it wasn't the result that the Cavs wanted or should be satisfied
They had a damn incredible season regardless.
pookeyguru - May 30, 2009
Dude
There is literally no one else stepping up for him. Someone’s gotta make shots for them.
Avinash Kunnath - May 30, 2009
I agree avi
I’ve said that here all series. Cavs will be back. I’m curious to see what changes, if any, there are. Also interested to see what the Cavs do through the draft. But, right now, that’s too early to discuss.

Okay fine. Put the pressure on now.
Aditya T (smashville) - May 30, 2009
I wish someone would put Dwight Howard on his ass just once. ONCE.
Bernie19Kosar - May 30, 2009
Not to be a prick
But who on the Cavs is stronger than Dwight? LeBron maybe. Who else?
pookeyguru - May 30, 2009
you dont have to be stronget to but him on his ass
gametime_gsw - May 30, 2009
So you want somebody on the Cavs to donkey punch Dwight?
pookeyguru - May 30, 2009
horse kick him or something
gametime_gsw - May 30, 2009
LOL
pookeyguru - May 30, 2009
use all the technicals now
Aditya T (smashville) - May 30, 2009
Not punch him, but someone should have sent a message early in this series. I thought Ben Wallace would have done it by now.
Bernie19Kosar - May 30, 2009
I thought they fouled Dwight very hard earlier in the series
And it helped frustrate him some. But, at the same time, Cleveland doesn’t have an answer for him. Nobody to check him or anything. No shadow or anything.
pookeyguru - May 30, 2009
You don’t have to be strong to foul a player hard. Rajon Rondo in round 1 vs. the Bulls is an example.
Bernie19Kosar - May 30, 2009
I think Z is gone. Dan needs to shell out just a little more cash. We need one more piece.
Patrick Allen - May 30, 2009
How do you guys think this series would have turned out of the Shaq trade happened?
Patrick Allen - May 30, 2009
who cares?
HireRockyColavito - May 30, 2009
Same result likely
No consistent point guard play.
SSreporters - May 30, 2009
Shaq actually fits our offense well, much better then on the Suns. But, I never like the idea of picking up people at the bottom of their careers.
Simmsinns - May 30, 2009
JJ Hickson would have looked real good on the floor when Anderson fouled out. Z is just too old and slow now.
gahnki - May 30, 2009
Oh jesus guys, can you not rub salt in the wounds? I hate this crap.
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
Yeah yeah, stop reminding
Aditya T (smashville) - May 30, 2009
And here comes the obigatory litany of Cleveland sports disappointments. Please, kick me some more.
woodsmeister - May 30, 2009
ouch
good luck cleveland their may be some hope in this game only 14 points u had a 8-0 run in less than a minute
CroRupt - May 30, 2009
Reggie Miller is an idiot
Seriously. This Orlando team did not fire on all cylinders all series long. Neither did Cleveland.
pookeyguru - May 30, 2009
so as cleveland fans i say we swallow our pride and hope the lakers knock these guys out faster than you can say pau gasol…i dont want to see dwight hoist a trophy before lebron
HireRockyColavito - May 30, 2009
Times like these I wish there was a way for both teams to lose.
Chief WaDrew - May 30, 2009
kobe is a punk…but he’s a ridiculously talented punk…smug arrogance and all he has pure skill…the magic seem to be a team based on a pure gimmick. they can shoot 3s and have one big guy who can dunk…oh boy…they’re a good team but i dont want that game formula to win them a championship
HireRockyColavito - May 30, 2009
It would be similar to a D’Antoni team winning it all. When it’s all said and done I don’t think there are enough facets in their game to pull out a victory in the finals over a team which is more talented. The Lakers match up better with the Magic than the Cavs to boot.
Chief WaDrew - May 30, 2009
I, frankly have no interest in watching it.
Though Derek Fisher on Rafer Alston will be an interesting matchup of who can take the stupidest shots over the course of seven games.
Chemo - May 30, 2009
Sasha Vuchekkjadkaic is not far behind.
Bernie19Kosar - May 30, 2009
Great season guys!
Aditya T (smashville) - May 30, 2009
Good night guys. Give kudos to the Magic, ban all the Magic trolls.
SSreporters - May 30, 2009
Agreed. Ban Magic in 5 or 6 before he comes home from the game. Give him a little disappointment at least.
gahnki - May 30, 2009
14 point lead with a minute left.
Cavs got this.
redzero - May 30, 2009
Magic fans: great series. I’m sad to see it end this badly after all those great games. I don’t think I can bring myself to root for you in the finals, but best of luck.
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
Please don’t root for ehhhhh…. the Lakers.
Simmsinns - May 30, 2009
Only 4 months.
+ Buckeyes.
Simmsinns - May 30, 2009
Yep. Should be a fun season.
gahnki - May 30, 2009
And here comes the overarching theme of WILL LEBRON STAY?!
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
LeBron James - Chris Bosh: Cleveland 2010
Simmsinns - May 30, 2009
That tandem is beyond scary
pookeyguru - May 30, 2009
It WILL happen.
Simmsinns - May 30, 2009
For the rest of the NBA's sake I hope it doesn't happen
But, wow.
pookeyguru - May 30, 2009
Did I mention I hated Reggie Miller
That statement is yet another reason why. He’s a moron.
pookeyguru - May 30, 2009
Well, Reggie actually said it would be nice to see LeBron stay in Cleveland
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
Hard to argue with that logic
Again, congrats on the great season.
pookeyguru - May 30, 2009
Cheers
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
if he doesn’t…bye bye cavs…
HireRockyColavito - May 30, 2009
Reggie Miller is making me miss Doug Collins.
Bernie19Kosar - May 30, 2009
oh and here comes the song
CroRupt - May 30, 2009
gotta mute it
Aditya T (smashville) - May 30, 2009
In case you were wondering, the Magic have taken 179 free throws for the series and Cleveland has taken 168.
I better not hear anybody talking about Stern wanting the Cavs in the finals anymore.
Chemo - May 30, 2009
wasn't it the Cav's strategy to foul Dwight at the games before? Of course they'd get more freethrows
And I’m not into conspiracy theories.
Azrael - May 30, 2009
Stay classy Orlando.
Simmsinns - May 30, 2009
So, Lakers fans now, everyone?
Aditya T (smashville) - May 30, 2009
I am.
Bernie19Kosar - May 30, 2009
fan is too strong a word…i dont want them to win…i just want them to beat the magic by not losing…
HireRockyColavito - May 30, 2009
I want them to beat the Magic so badly they cry for their mamas.
woodsmeister - May 30, 2009
I want Dwight to get the rest of his technicals and cry
Aditya T (smashville) - May 30, 2009
SCREW L.A.
Yes, I hate Orlando too, but I hate everything about California first.
Simmsinns - May 30, 2009
Undoubtedly. I have no love for upstart teams. Let Kobe get his so we don’t have to hear about it again next year.
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
Was that Pietrus who shot that three?
Douchebag.
SSreporters - May 30, 2009
It was only 13 points
Aditya T (smashville) - May 30, 2009
and its also only been 45 years since the last cleveland championship…oops 46 now…
HireRockyColavito - May 30, 2009
But, Ohio has the BUCKEYES!
Simmsinns - May 30, 2009
So, now a thread for reminiscing on the season? Or for anger?
Aditya T (smashville) - May 30, 2009
No need for anger. We just got to watch the best basketball team Cleveland has ever seen, and we’ll get to see them for years to come.
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
sorry
a good buddy of mine that grew up in Shaker Heights was telling me the other day that he can’t even comprise a top ten sports moments list from the Cavs, Browns, and Indians – and he’s 35.
even though i’m a Knicks fan, i’m one of the few that actually believes LeBron won’t leave Cleveland until he wins a championship there. even if that happens, maybe it’s a pipe dream that he comes to resurrect my pathetic team anyway.
just wanted to say good season and sorry it didn’t happen for you.
Anthony Masons Haircut - May 30, 2009
There have been many good moments. Just not surrounding a championship.
gahnki - May 30, 2009
Awesome name.
Bernie19Kosar - May 30, 2009
Thanks, man
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
I really appreciate hearing that.
Simmsinns - May 30, 2009
Please no Magic trolls. We don’t wanna hear it.
Aditya T (smashville) - May 30, 2009
Don’t worry…
Turkmenbashi - May 30, 2009
Their owner seems like pure class.
gahnki - May 30, 2009
tough loss for the cavs but great season nonetheless. i was hoping for the kobe lebron matchup, but twas not meant to be. hopefully, you will trade for guys that will showup besides lbj in the playoffs when it matters the most.
kumquatsrus - May 30, 2009
I’m pulling for Kobe to win it all. I just vomited as I typed that.
Bernie19Kosar - May 30, 2009
lol, you won’t regret it.
kumquatsrus - May 30, 2009
Awesome season for the Cavs.. Im a magic fan, but you guys played great all season.. I wish you well next season!
