That TrueHoop article about the lottery process is very intersting. I didn’t realize that representatives from each team were in the room when the ping pong balls were selected. The article says those people are then locked in the room until the announcement is made on TV so there is no chance of the information being leaked.

Of course, with the way many fans view the NBA, I’m there will be a few people who still believe that David Stern is rigging the process somehow to favor certain teams (right before he tells the refs which teams he wants to win every game each night).
